Who We Are
VOA Florida is a faith-based, human service organization that engages Floridians in need, including unhoused Veterans, individuals and families experiencing homelessness, those diagnosed with mental health and cognitive conditions, and vulnerable seniors. Creating positive life changes through housing and supportive services (i.e., behavioral health, case management, and more).
When Volunteers of America was founded, a “volunteer” was someone whose vocation was to serve others through a commitment to a mission. Today, we are still staffed by mission-driven professionals working to support individuals and build thriving communities, only now we call them “employees.”
