Manatee Retail Training Program and Store

Imagine helping your community while finding great deals on clothing and household goods!

Odds & Ends is a retail training site for individuals that participate in the programs of Volunteers of America of Florida. Proceeds from all sales help to fund the Manatee County programs of Volunteers of America of Florida.

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  You can find men’s, women’s & children’s clothing and shoes, as well as books, housewares, linens, music, holiday decorations, small pieces of furniture, and more. You’re always guaranteed a fair price because of our discount tagging system, based on when the item was donated.

We take gently used items as donations during our normal hours of operation.

Date: Sunday, October 14th- Thursday October, 18th.
Time: Donations accepted from 8:00am - 8:00pm each day.
Location(s): Donations can be dropped off at The Home Depot. Please submit donations to the Volunteers of America of Florida truck or inside the store at the customer service desk.
Donations may also be submitted to the Volunteers of America of Florida Program near you. Find yours here:

Beginning tomorrow, Volunteers of America of Florida and The Home Depot are teaming up to secure donated items to send to those affect by Hurricane Michael. #VOAFL will have a large truck in the parking lot of this The Home Depot where you can drop the items off. If you'd prefer to make a donation, simply text the word Michael to 91999 and all funds will go to hurricane relief. This effort will run as long as supporters are dropping off items and once we hear from the Regional Manager stationed in Tallahassee, Florida that we're good to head up we'll bring these kindly donated items to those in need!
