Manatee Retail Training Program and Store
Volunteers of America of Florida “Odds and Ends” Manatee Retail Training Center was founded in 2008. For over a decade the Center provided a retail training site, invaluable skills and hope to countless Floridians who cope with a psychiatric disability. All of that was made possible by the support of amazing community members & the wonderful local team members of Volunteers of America of Florida. If you donated items, volunteered at the Center or shopped for outstanding items, THANK YOU! Team members truly enjoyed meeting you and appreciated your wonderful support.
While the doors to the Odds and Ends Retail Training Center have officially closed due to lack of funding, which is an unfortunate issue nonprofits regularly face, rest assured that Volunteers of America of Florida is continuing to serve those in need in the Manatee/Bradenton area and communities throughout Florida. Services are uninterrupted and the program participants continue to be engaged with a myriad of training opportunities by their team members at Volunteers of America of Florida.
With that said, your support is still very much needed. You can still donate items and/or make a gift that’ll change a life here: www.voaflorida.org/donate. If you have questions about specific needs in your area or services please contact firstname.lastname@example.org any time.
Thank you again for making the last 12 years incredibly memorable. Your love and support changed the lives of so many. Together we look forward to changing the lives of many more fellow Floridians for decades to come.
