Program Overview

Achieving Independence serves adults who have a primary diagnosis of substance abuse with co-occurring mental illness, people who are at risk of homelessness, individuals that are homeless due to substance abuse, and people who are not effectively served by the existing system of care. The goal of this program is to promote independent living, sobriety, housing stability, mental health stability, and employment stability.

 

Qualifications for this Program

  • Those who have substance abuse disorder 

  • 18 years or older 

  • Must be referred by South Florida Behavioral Health Network (SFBHN). Please direct all referrals for Achieving Independence to SFBHN
